In 2016, the WFB board budgeted $2000 for Big Canoe Landscaping projects. $100 went toward the purchase of daffodil bulbs to be planted around the play field. Another $1800 went toward a project to update the landscaping at the North Gate of Big Canoe. WFB members Anita Rosen and Debbie Dickson worked as advisors / consultants to Big Canoe landscaping maintenance employees to design the update and select materials. After the area was cleared and prepared the next step was to place hardscape ... in this case some large boulders. Then, came plants. And finally the project is complete.
