Dalia Lavender and Claudia Kinder of Garden Divas presented the May program on how to make winning container plant combinations. As part of their “Container Gardening Made Easy” talk, they showed how to compose beautiful container plantings using both annuals and perennials. The program also covered the important fundamentals of caring for container plants, along with tips on using lighting in container planting so that their beauty shines even after sunset. The May picnic followed the program, with a delicious barbecue picnic lunch, cook and served up by generous volunteers.
