The spicebushes and violets have welcomed Spring to Nature Valley!!  

Where:  Jeep Trail Parking Lot (navigate on Google Maps to 2006 Wilderness Parkway, Jasper, GA).

When:  1:30 PM, Tuesday, March 12

Journey:  Travel from the parking lot to the Cabin and back - approximately 1 mile round trip with little elevation change.  Option to continue to Lower Falls, which includes more moderate segments (approximately 2 miles round trip).

Bring/Wear:   Hiking shoes, hiking poles, water (optional)

If you are unable to make the trip this time, don't worry.  We will likely hike this area again as more plants begin to show off.

Next Up:  We've been getting reports that the ephemerals are starting to peek their heads!  We will monitor the situation & plan a walk either the Week of March 18 or the following week.  We do hope to do some of the walks on weekends, but so far the weather has been uncooperative.
