Seed Sowing Workshop

Winter Sowing Workshop, sponsored by our neighbors at North Georgia Homestead Supply

Date:  Thursday, January 30, 2025

Time: 2:00 PM

Location:  Wildcat Recreation Area Pavilion

RSVP:  Please respond here so that we have enough materials.  You'll receive an email and can change your response at any time.

The wildflower seeds are enjoying the winter weather and are ready to hit the ground!   Join us to create a winter sowing environment and start growing plants for your wildflower garden.

We'll provide:

  • a variety of seeds*

  • garden soil/seed starter soil

  • pots and covered containers (mini greenhouses), but please feel free to bring anything else you would like to sow.

You may want to bring:

  • Garden gloves

  • Small shovel/scoop

  • Your reusable plastic (I like the spinach containers, but any clear or translucent container will work for your mini greenhouses)

This year's winter sowing workshop is sponsored by our neighbors at North Georgia Homestead Supply.  Check them out on Hwy 53 in Marble Hill.
