A graceful serpentine garden bench beckoned everyone to have a seat and enjoy the many shades of green.

Vince Dooley’s book about his own legendary garden was on display.

An espaliered grape vine was a perfect backdrop for the bar area.

Laura Larimore signals that the stage is set, the scene perfect. Let the party begin!

Beautiful hydrangeas in full bloom welcomed WFB members and guests to the late-afternoon gala.

Cheryl Mitchell-Jones welcomed members and guests as they arrived.

Among the guests were several WFB past presidents. See description for names...

Judy Kaufman, gala chair, had teased the club with the promise of football meets flowers by way of a corsage-wearing football.

Judy Kaufman and Jennie Sheffield welcome a master of gardening and the former University of Georgia’s Coach Vince Dooley, guest speak for the WFB 25th Anniversary celebration.

Coach Dooley took the members through a photographic tour of his garden, highlighted by his beloved hydrangeas.

Dooley and his wife, Barbara, kept the party entertained with humorous stories about his gardening adventures and her witty take on his gardening life.

The Dooleys proposed a congratulatory toast to Wildflower Bunch on 25 great years.

Nancy Popp and Margaret Smith are joined by other members in a toast.
