2019 June Meeting

In June John Lomax, presented a program of “Best Practices for a Deer Resistant Gar- den.” John and his wife, Jean, have served as WFB presidents and have hosted WFB tours of their garden. They have many years of experience in gardening and dealing with the deer that are a part of our Big Canoe landscapes. John provided a look at everything you need to know about, when, where and why deer come into our gardens, along with how-to’s on gardening “around” the deer. Included were tips on the most deer-resistant plants and on various deer deterrents.
